I thank you your comments. I agree, Algiers...Hello.
I thank you your comments. I agree, Algiers has changedin this period of time, but not as much as Europe, for instance.
I left Algiers in 2001. When I returned in 2007 I realized that people enjoy their free time more than before; They have new cars, more items at supermarkets... they live better. But the gap with the rest of the world has increased.
Anyway, I am sure you will enjoy returning to here. I wish we meet a day during your new stay in Algeria.
Kind regards!José Antoniohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15420003457649493388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1636479779059671397.post-37479975509033879292009-06-20T20:07:20.289+01:002009-06-20T20:07:20.289+01:00it feels so good to read about the life and times ...it feels so good to read about the life and times of Algiers through the eyes of a foreigner living in Algiers. Long time ago, I worked in my Embasy there and reading your blog I could identify myself with many of your opinions and reactions while living in Algiers. Now I am in Spain and shall be travelling to Algiers after a gap of 5 years! I expect to see big changes. I just stumbled upon your blog to get updates of Algiers. Really enjoyed reading what you write. Dont speak spanish so well yet, so my comment is in English. un cordial saludo.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
